NASA has revised its initial estimate of the size and speed of what it's calling the Cape Cod Bay fishy squisher to five feet wide and 5.6 tons - at least before it disintegrated about 30 miles up when it hit the atmosphere at roughly 42,000 m.p.h. above the New Hampshire/Massachusetts line (down from the initial 75,000 m.p.h.), creating a sonic boom as it released the equivalent of 230 tons of TNT (so revised down from 300 tons).
