A federal judge last week sentenced Dr. Pankaj Merchia of Brookline and Boca Raton, FL to 58 months in prison, following his conviction on one count of health care fraud, three counts of money laundering, two counts of tax evasion and one count of conspiracy to defraud the IRS.
