Two shot on Memorial Drive

Cambridge police and paramedics and state troopers responded to 808 Memorial Drive, just before River Street, on reports of gunfire around 1:30 p.m.

Cambridge paramedics transported two people to the hospital, one in critical condition plus the shooter. One victim was in a car and crashed at the Dunkin' Donuts.

Just 15 minutes before a man allegedly opened fire with a rifle on Memorial Drive, Boston Police had sent a warning to their counterparts in Cambridge: A man named Tyler Brown - on probation for opening fire on Boston cops in the South End in 2020 - might have crossed the river with a rifle and was making suicidal statements.
