The Red Line continues to be the Wednesday's Child of the MBTA, with trains continuing to fall by the wayside. As of 8:55 a.m., Transit Matter's Red Line tracker showed just ten trains in operation on the entire line (six of the new ones; four of the Methuselahs) compared to 17 on the Orange Line.
