The owners of the South End building where the Foodie's market was supposed to make way for a new branch of the Croft School yesterday sued the school and now suspended school Executive Director Scott Given over what they said was a completely fraudulent lease process, one that culminated when a bank called police on one of the owners who showed up at a branch to transfer funds from what they allege was a fake letter of credit supplied by Given - and bank employees thought the owner was trying to defraud the bank.
