A Roslindale woman was arraigned today on charges she used an aluminum baseball bat to smash the door of her ex's parents' apartment in the Stony Brook Commons apartments off Washington Street in Roslindale last month, then shoved them out of the way while threatening them with the bat before racing upstairs in a vain hunt for a safe with money.
Court rules Boston has right to build new White Stadium

The Supreme Judicial Court today threw out a lawsuit against the ongoing construction of the new White Stadium in Franklin Park, saying the land for the stadium is not technically public parkland that would otherwise require a two-thirds vote of the state legislature to do something like plop a 10,000-seat stadium on top of it.

At 4:23 p.m., the MBTA reported a train died at the Blue Line's portal to the underworld, yes, Wonderland, causing 15 minute delays. At 5:28 p.m., the T reported the Blue Line was all fine and dandy once more.
Red Line had a new glitch due to busted switch

At 1:08 p.m., the MBTA reported 20-minute delays on the Red Line to and from Braintree due to a troublesome switch at Braintree. At 1:55 p.m., the T reported it had talked some sense into the switch and service was back to normal.
