A Red Line train died at Savin Hill this morning and before MBTA crews could shove it out of the way, the T was reporting delays of up to 25 minutes for the Ashmont branch. The T declared the crisis at an end at 11:58 a.m., but like all good dead-train events, reported residual delays of up to 20 minutes on the branch.
