Boston Police report they are looking for "several individuals captured on surveillance footage" related to gunfire outside the South Bay Panera on Allstate Road in Dorchester around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday.

The Globe reports that Clarke's on Merchants Row is closing after 50 years. Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Tree House Brewing Co. is looking at moving into the space where Mija used to be, with a brewery, a distillery and an outdoor beer garden. Tree House once considered moving into the Pru, but didn't.

Councilor wants city to help fill potholes on hundreds of private ways in Boston

City Councilor  Brian Worrell (Dorchester) thinks it's time people who live on private ways in Boston get the same level of pothole filling as residents who live along roads that are owned by the city. - although he'd still charge them something for the work.

ICE is blaming "an administrative oversight" for the way it failed to comply with a judge's April 14 deadline to either release an immigrant it had thrown in a cell or to get him before an immigration judge for a bond hearing.
